The Haiti Tech Summit is the largest gathering of entrepreneurs, innovators, and influencers in Haiti leveraging tech to impact the future of humanity. It is a cultural tech festival that highlights the importance of startup ecosystems to either create or disrupt industries across all disciplines- from food to commerce to music and more. The central theme of the 2017 global summit was to catalyze startup ecosystems in emerging markets.

Marc Alain is the Lead for Facebook Developer Circles (DevC) Port-au-Prince. It is a program supported by Facebook for developers all over the world to connect, learn, and collaborate with other local developers. The circle in Port-au-Prince is hosted at Banj and it connects about 800 developers and entrepreneurs virtually through Facebook group and physically through monthly meet-ups.

Marc Alain co created and led the first 2 editions of ELAN Haiti in 2014 and 2016. Elan Haiti is formed from a series of reflections, lectures, tours, workshops and round tables then devoted to a profound, sincere, engaged discussion, focused on Haiti among young students, active leaders and / or Haitian and international entrepreneurs selected competitively in order to promote horizontal exchanges and the necessary dialogue on major national issues, while promoting concrete actions in favor of the positive development of Haiti. Beyond trying to put Haiti under an artificially positive light, Elan Haiti aims to reveal the potential of unifying the youth through networking and the creation of concrete projects that will be implemented in Haiti by the participants of the forum 1 year after the event with the support of the Directorate of Support to Youth Initiatives (DSIJ) of Group ECHO Haiti.
